GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Monthly ESLR (April): This month's ESLR is HEALTHY INDIVIDUALS who grow spiritually, mentally, physically, and emotionally, and are equipped for the challenges of life. (1 Corinthians 6:20) “For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.”

Students: Laptops are not to be carried or stored in your lockers at school. You must have approval from a teacher (who has approval from admin) to bring your laptop. The laptop will either be stored with the teacher in their room, or checked in to the JH/HS office. When in use, you can only do so in the classroom of the teacher approved, under their supervision.

The Student Handbook states on page 12:

“For the sake of safety and the privacy of others, any device facilitating communication with or between one or more persons or stations, or which is able to reproduce, store or transmit images or text will lead to confiscation and examination by Administration – “Search & Seizure”. Personal cameras, laptops, iPads, iPods, etc. are not allowed on campus. When confiscated, they will be returned to the parent only. Non-adherence to this policy is considered a serious infraction and will result in disciplinary action.”

Summer School: This summer we are planning to offer Fundamentals of Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I and Geometry. Summer school is an option for students to advance in math or to improve/make-up their math grade. Summer school is 6/3 – 7/12 from 8am-12pm. If you are interested in signing up for summer school you can pick up a registration form in the JH/HS office registration forms are due on or before Fri., 5/24. For more information you can contact see Mrs. Cotton.

Reminder All JH and HS Students may not wear hoodies on head, hats, caps, beanies or dew rags in the classrooms or hallways during the school day.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Promotion and Graduation Gowns were distributed 4/10.  Please do not leave them in our locker over the break.  Take them home and have your parents read the information in the package.  There are important deadlines that need attention.  Thank you.
